Valentines came early this year for our residents at Peace Village! On February 6th a local Girl Scout troop came and had tea and cookies with our residents, they also colored beautiful Valentine’s Day pictures. As I was walking around I heard some very important conversations going on such as how many teeth were lost, what do you want to be when you grow up, how old are you and whose your favorite pop star! The interaction between the older and younger generations was very sweet and something to see! I enjoyed hearing the different conversations going on and conversing with the girls myself. When small children come to our community it brings such joy and happiness to our residents. Both groups have so much to learn from each other that the outcome of them being together is quite magical.
