Peace Village resident, Rosemary Kazmierczak recently went on one of our trips to Marcus Theatre to see “I Wanna Dance”.
Last Tuesday I was lucky enough to get a last- minute seat on the Peace Village Bus going to the Marcus Theatre. The movie was I Wanna Dance. It is the story of Whitney Houston’s rise to fame, her destructive drug abuse, her successful comeback and untimely death. It is definitely one I would pay to see again. The new actress Naomi Acke is wonderful, you really feel like it’s Whitney, she should be nominated for an Oscar. Stanley Tucci as Whitney’s manager, Clive Davis should get an award for best supporting actor, he is that good. For $5.00 I had a ride on the bus, admission to the show and a bag of popcorn. Who could ask for anything more. Five stars for Peace Village.
