The Village Inn Dining Room

The dining staff at Peace Village knows how important it is that the dining experience be special. Our employees go to great lengths to get acquainted with each and every resident because we feel those relationships are invaluable, and the dining room is the perfect place to get to know one another. Greeting each individual by name, staff members seat residents in a formal, bright and welcoming dining room that rivals many country clubs.

After an active day, residents find no greater joy than winding down in a beautiful atmosphere over a delicious meal and friendly exchange with fellow residents and staff members. Many of our residents grew up in a time where sitting down as a family for dinner was a time for relaxation, nourishment and conversation. We strive to recreate this element of comfort and familiarity in our dining room. As independent living residents gather in the fireside lounge before being seated, they chat and look forward to the diverse menu that awaits them. At Peace Village, dinner is truly a personal experience.

Peace Village residents enjoy the dining room so much that they even host parties from time to time. Residents are welcome to celebrate special occasions, such as anniversaries, birthdays and weddings right here in the Village Inn Dining Room.

Meal plans are set up to revolve on a 6-week timeline, but staff members are committed to changing according to residents' tastes. Trying new options and changing the menu according to their reviews are important ways for us to show residents that their input is valued. We try to cater to all of our residents' preferences, including menu choices that are seasonal, health conscious, vegetarian and comfort foods.
