Addressing Your Retirement Living ConcernsIn addition to financial considerations, we know you are concerned about several other aspects of retirement community living. Here are just a few concerns expressed by families over the years. My parents need more care than a retirement community can provide.Since several different types of retirement communities exist, the type and level of care offered can vary greatly from a hands-off Independent Living approach to full-service nursing homes. Peace Care Services can help Assisted Living residents with everything from getting dressed to physical and occupational therapy and medication reminders. In addition, all 305 homes at Peace Village are outfitted with emergency response systems and of course, medical professionals are on site at all times. Assisted living communities are not regulated by the government.Assisted Living programs and facilities are regulated in all 50 states. Peace Village’s Assisted Living residences, the Circle Inn, is licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Public Health (license #1502175) and is subject to the same regulations as other highly respected assisted living facilities in Illinois. My parent(s) just cannot afford to live in a retirement community.Monthly fees at Peace Village begin at just $1,370 for a single individual. That fee covers all utilities except telephone and extended cable television. In addition, this fee includes one daily restaurant-styled meal, maintenance, semi-annual housekeeping, annual carpet cleaning, emergency response system, activities, social events, scheduled transportation and 70 health care days per year.
