Harvey Leffring, Chief Executive Officer

Harvey Leffring assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of Peace Village in 2009. Prior to serving as CEO, Harvey served on the Board of Directors of Peace Village for six years, two as Treasurer and three as President. Throughout his career, Mr. Leffring has served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer for several major corporations, including DeVry Inc., Siegel Robert Automotive, Fannie May Candies and A.B. Dick Company. Harvey has a passion to create an enriching lifestyle here at Peace Village and leads his staff in providing a caring community and home for each and every resident. Mr. Leffring holds a Bachelors' degree from Central Michigan University and an MBA from Keller Graduate School. Harvey lives in Orland Park with his wife and has two grown daughters.

Roger Ellens, Chief Financial Officer

Roger is a CPA and has over 10 years of financial management experience. He has experience in various industries including financial services, distribution, and non-profit. He has been with Peace Village since 2009. Roger has a degree in Accounting from Dordt College. He lives in Orland Hills with his wife and two boys.

Donna Koenes, Executive Assistant to CEO

Donna has over 25 years of Executive Assistant experience. Most recently she spent over 18 years as the Assistant to the CEO of a privately-owned spice company in the South Suburbs of Chicago. She joined Peace Village in June, 2009. Donna is married with two grown children and resides in the Western Suburbs.

Michael Nord, Director of Dining Services

After receiving his culinary arts & business degree in Minnesota, Mike spent 4 years as a chef in a private country club followed by 10 years at an independent living retirement community serving as Director of Dining Services. During this time he started his own business creating and marketing a line of upscale refrigerated salad dressings for the retail industry. For the past 17 years, Mike has been a proud member of the Peace Village team where he is responsible for the operation of the Dining Services Department and the satisfaction of over 256 residents.

Diane Oremovich, Health & Wellness Administrator

Diane joined Peace Village in 2006 and has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She spent 25 years at Advocate Christ and Good Samaritan Hospitals in various nursing positions. She was Vice President at Behavioral Health Systems and Regional Lead Manager for United Behavioral Healthcare. She has served as a Vice President and Trustee at Peace Memorial Church, past President and Board Member at Peace Village and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Advocate Christ Hospital. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Psychology, a Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, is licensed as a Nurse and as a Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Illinois and is Nationally Certified. 

Mike Ferguson  

Mike Ferguson, Director, Fund Development

Mike joined the Peace Village team in 2009. He has over 20 years of experience in the human care and non-profit industry. Mike has experience working with individual donors in securing a variety of gifts for the organizations he has served. He has a bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University and a graduate degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Mike lives in Darien with his wife and two children.

Tim Stoub, Facilities Director

Tim joined the Peace Village team in 2010. He spent over 15 years in different aspects of the building and trades field, including operations manager for an independent contracting company. Tim has extensive experience in both project management, and hands on operations. He is always looking for innovative ways to enhance the lifestyles and surroundings for our residents and staff. As Facilities Director, he oversees the Maintenance, Security, and Landscaping departments, along with the management of all sub-contracted work. Tim resides in Tinley Park with his wife, and 3 children.

Susan Franczek, Life Services Director

Susan became a staff member of Peace Village in 2010. She has a background in Activities Directing, Event Planning, and General Managing. Life Services Director includes the oversight of Housekeeping, Reception, Resident Services, and Move-In Coordination. Susan's primary focus is on customer satisfaction in everything she provides. She is always looking for ways to make the Peace Village resident's lives fuller and more enjoyable. Susan resides in Joliet with a couple of furry friends and good books.
