Palos Heights

From its name to its designation as an official Tree City, the City of Palos Heights personifies peaceful serenity and beauty. Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2009, Palos Heights has managed to retain and improve upon its original rustic nature, emerging as a modern, residential community in a rural setting. A number of excellent restaurants and specialty shops can be found along Harlem Avenue, College Drive and 127th Street in Palos Heights. Churches, recreational amenities such as Lake Katherine Nature Center and Botanic Garden, and outstanding health care providers, including Palos Community Hospital, combine to make Palos Heights a valuable part of the Peace Village community.
